Spartans Open 2025 Season with 23–6 Win Over Western Michigan

EAST LANSING, Mich.  – The Michigan State Spartans kicked off their 2025 college football campaign with a strong statement, defeating Western Michigan 23–6 at Spartan Stadium before a crowd of 71,657. Running back Makhi Frazier emerged as a breakout performer, logging 103 rushing yards and a touchdown on 14 carries.
