The East Lansing Trojans overcame a tough challenge from the visiting Okemos Wolves, securing a hard-fought 78-67 victory in double overtime.Withstanding Okemos’ relentless three-point shooting, the Trojans showcased resilience and determination to improve their season record to 12-1.
The tightly contested matchup between the 11-1 Trojans and 10-1 Wolves saw both teams trading leads before East Lansing pulled away.
Junior guard KJ Torbert led the way for the Trojans, scoring his 1,000th career point in the win.
