Lansing News Wire Q&A: Meet Ayden Jai Mosher , Holt High School’s Junior Varsity Wrestler

The Lansing News Wire had a chance to catch up with Ayden Mosher, Holt High’s varsity wrestler competing in the 144-pound division. Mosher has a combined record of 36-5 and finished first in his division claiming the MHSAA Regional 2-1 Championship to punch his ticket to the State Tournament at Ford Field in Detroit slated March 1-2. Here is what he had to say in Meet the Rams Q&A:

Q: Why did you get into wrestling?

A: We was always wrestling at home so parents let us try it.

Q: What do you love most about wrestling?

A: The memories. 

Q: Who is your favorite wrestler?

A: Kyle Dake 

Q: Who is the greatest wrestler of all time?

A: Jordan Burroughs 

Q: What is your best memory on the wrestling team?

A: Ohio, Sophomore year. 

Q: Who has helped you become the wrestler you are today?

A: My coaches and all my practice partners.

Q: Do you recommend wrestling to others, why or why not?

A: Yes, it’s a good way to relief stress and get in shape.

Q: What do you like most about being on the wrestling team?

A: Wrestling 2 times every week. 

Q: How do you prepare for your next match?

A: Listen to music bounce and dance around.

Q: What is your goal for this wrestling season?

A: Top 2 at State. 

Q: What is one of your goals for after high school?

A: Have my own place with a good job or join college wrestling.

Q: What is your favorite classroom subject?

A: Biology 

Q: What is your dream school/university?

A: MSU / GVSU

A: Tamales or chicken alfredo
