STAFF REPORT | LANSING NEWS WIRE

HICKORY CORNERS, MI — Chrysler is marking a century of automotive innovation with a special 100th anniversary celebration at the Gilmore Car Museum, running from Wednesday, July 30 through Saturday, August 2.

The iconic American brand—part of the Stellantis family—is inviting enthusiasts, families, and car lovers to explore a curated exhibit of five landmark vehicles that helped define Chrysler’s legacy. Featured models include the 1924 Chrysler Six, 1934 Airflow, 1955 Chrysler 300, 1963 Turbine, and the 1949 Town & Country. The display also highlights the modern Chrysler Pacifica, the most awarded minivan in its class.

Attendees can speak with product specialists, take guided tours of the exhibit, and receive a complimentary Chrysler-branded gift while supplies last. Guests are also encouraged to register for the 2025 Stellantis Sweepstakes, offering a chance to win a $100,000 vehicle credit toward a new Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep®, Ram Truck, or FIAT vehicle. The grand prize winner will be selected in 2026.

The Chrysler exhibit is open during regular museum hours:

Wednesday, July 30: 1 p.m. – 9 p.m.

Thursday, July 31 – Saturday, August 2: 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.

The Gilmore Car Museum is located at 6865 Hickory Rd, Hickory Corners, Michigan. The event offers a rare opportunity to experience Chrysler’s rich automotive history firsthand and see how the brand continues to push the boundaries of design, performance, and family-focused innovation.

Chrysler’s 100th anniversary celebration underscores its continued commitment to the values established by founder Walter P. Chrysler—engineering excellence, accessibility, and bold innovation. The Pacifica, now celebrating 20 years of its groundbreaking Stow ‘n Go seating, remains a symbol of that legacy.
