Q: Why did you get into wrestling?

A: To beat my brother, Omar.

Q: What do you love most about wrestling?

The challenge.

Q: Who is your favorite wrestler?

A: Spencer Lee

Q: Who is the greatest wrestler of all time?

A: Cael Sanderson

Q: What is your best memory on the wrestling team?

A: Being accepted into Holt.

Q: Who has helped you become the wrestler you are today?

A: Omar Canales, my brother.

Q: Do you recommend wrestling to others, why or why not?

A: Yes, it builds lots of character. 

Q: What do you like most about being on the wrestling team?

A: We’re a family.

Q: How do you prepare for your next match?

A: Warm up and dancing to music.

Q: What is your goal for this wrestling season?

A: Learn and improve. 

Q: What is one of your goals for after high school?

A: Make it to the State.
